This lovely waltz was taught to Denis Emanuelsson (b.1876) in Sund, Nössemark by an older gentleman who went by the name of Römudden.
Svenska Låtar notes that Emanuelsson’s tunes often seem to show a Norwegian influence, but concludes that this cross-fertilization must have happened a long time ago as no Norwegians were members of his contemporary playing community.
